The Dog Grooming Academy is an Accredited Training Organisation that delivers an internationally recognised course - The Level 3 Diploma in Professional Dog Grooming - International. We are OCN Accredited, and are registered with the UKRLP and the CPD Group.
Our network of dedicated centres and affiliates (both in the UK and Australia) provide full practical, hands on training to meet breed standard requirements together with an online learning platform to learn the theory required to compliment and further enhance your skills. Our tutors & assessors are fully certified with many years of dog grooming experience.

COURSE OVERVIEW
The Level 3 Diploma in Professional Dog Grooming is a 3–week ‘hands-on’ Training course for those who want to become a Certified Recognised Professional Dog Groomer.
On Campus in our state-of-the-art Salon and Academy, which includes our Computer Hub, this 3-week course will provide you with practical skills and the professional training needed to complete the assessment requirements. The flexible, online, user-friendly theory modules can be completed at the student’s own time.
All tuition is delivered by highly experienced Certified Trainers, who have significant years of training, gaining recognition both within Australia and internationally within the Grooming World and Multiple AKC Best-in-Show, ensuring every student benefits from real-world expertise and current industry practices.
The course is assessed and examined by OCN and CPD-accredited assessors and examiners, who are respected International professionals within the field, providing students with the assurance of recognised, high-quality training and assessment standards.
You will learn not only the practical Skills needed to complete grooming services across different breeds and coat types, but also how to manage a business, staff, and customer/service expectations. You will cover topics such as Business start-up essentials, canine First Aid, Coat Types and care, and professional salon management. Throughout the course, you will complete 20 Full Grooms on a range of different coat types. Hydro bath, Spa, De Shedding, Matting and Safe Handling skills.
On successful completion of the practical and theory components, students will be awarded a Level 3 Accredited Diploma in Dog Grooming, fully equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to work as a professional groomer or establish their own grooming business.
